A few residents report having heard 10-15 gunshots along north 9th street several days ago, during the overnight hours.
Rumor is the police also found several shell casings in the area. Nothing confirmed yet, and fortunately no known damage.

On Wednesday Night, Sept 15 I believe, 3:30 AM I was awakened from a deep sleep by at least a half dozen gunshots that I counted.
Our bedroom is in the rear of the house, and the windows facing south, east and west were open.
These shots were so loud that I believe they had to have come from the area between 4th and 5th Sts., and Main and Smith.
Within seconds, literally, police cars were speeding around the block. I have heard nothing since.
